New photos of the motte and bailey in the grounds of St John the Baptist.
The above photo clearly shows the size of the motte next to the church. The bailey is thought to be the space in the foreground and also beneath the church buildings.
The above photo shows the motte to the right of the church between the road and the building. The ditches providing protection to the site are now thought to lie beneath the roadway.
